About The Position

The Azure Cloud Engineer Intern will, learn technical cloud engineering principles, concepts and apply them to tasks as assigned to them. This position will be with National Indemnity in Omaha, NE, and on site a minimum of 50% of hours worked. Students must be willing and able to work a minimum of 2 semesters with 15-20 hours per week

Requirements

• Sophomore or Junior undergraduate degree seeking students
• IT major and demonstrated interest in pursuing an IT career in cloud infrastructure engineering.
• A basic level of knowledge of IT functions.
• Students must be willing and able to work a minimum of 2 semesters with 15-20 hours per week

• Prefer students with an interest in coding, or any coding experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete Microsoft training curriculum for Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator Associate and Bicep.
• Be a part of the cloud platform engineering team, learning the NICO MCA cloud environment
• Contribute to weekly tasks as assigned
• Participate in meetings as invited
