Sr. Azure Cloud Architect (Denver, CO)
About The Position
This position plays a critical role in designing solutions for a highly secure proprietary payments platform/system within the Government Solutions business unit. Responsibilities include working on complex systems and project issues while interacting with senior IT management and a demanding client. Project Details: Work with development teams to provide estimates on tasks with complete timeline of project delivery Engage with senior management to develop technology strategy and drive implementation of the architecture roadmap Participate in broader areas of application development, infrastructure, security, deployment, unit and integration testing Understand desired business outcomes desired by customer and translate these to requirements for the solution, and recommend potential options Own the overall solution and ensure all components of a solution fit well, function and perform as expected, including availability, performance, and security Effectively articulate the solution to both internal stakeholders and customers
Requirements
- Need an architect that is HIGHLY familiar with every platform of Azure, used Azure extensively for at least 5 years, but 10 years ideally
- Someone able to build up entire environment with little to no guidance
- Need excellent communication skills, able to talk to all levels of leadership and with engineers/tech folks - critical skill needed
- Proficient with Microsoft Azure
- Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Cloud Security
- DevOps
- Azure SQL
