About The Position

This role is a senior-level opportunity for a cloud expert who will lead the design, deployment, and optimization of enterprise-scale Azure environments. You will work closely with business and technology leaders to define cloud adoption strategies that are secure, scalable, and aligned with long-term objectives. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will guide organizations through complex modernization and migration initiatives. The position operates in a collaborative, remote-first environment with exposure to large-scale, mission-critical systems. With a strong focus on governance, security, and automation, this role has a direct impact on how organizations innovate and operate in the cloud. It is ideal for someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on technical leadership.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with at least 5 years focused on Microsoft Azure environments.
  • Proven expertise in Azure Landing Zones, Cloud Adoption Framework, and enterprise-scale cloud architectures.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure core services, including networking, security, governance, migration, and the Well-Architected Framework.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code and automation using Bicep, Terraform, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions.
  • Deep understanding of identity, security, and compliance using Entra ID, PIM, Azure Policy, and Defender for Cloud.
  • Experience leading cloud adoption workshops, technical assessments, and stakeholder-facing advisory sessions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant Microsoft certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver cloud adoption roadmaps aligned with organizational goals, translating business requirements into scalable and cost-optimized Azure solutions.
  • Architect and implement secure, compliant Azure Landing Zones following the Cloud Adoption Framework and enterprise-scale best practices.
  • Establish governance across multi-subscription environments using Azure Policy, policy-as-code, and standardized compliance controls.
  • Design identity and security architectures leveraging Microsoft Entra ID, Privileged Identity Management, role-based access controls, and Defender for Cloud.
  • Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Bicep and Terraform, and automate deployments through CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
  • Lead hybrid and cloud migration initiatives, including Azure Arc deployments, backup and disaster recovery strategies, and workload optimization.
  • Advise on secure networking and connectivity solutions such as Azure Firewall, Private Link, and hybrid connectivity models.
  • Deliver workshops, assessments, and advisory engagements while staying current on Azure innovations and integrating them into cloud strategies.
