Posting Note: RN Coordinator - Fetal Care Network Phoenix Children's Join the compassionate and specialized team at Phoenix Children's Fetal Care Network, where we guide expectant families through some of their most challenging moments. Our Fetal Care Coordinators work closely with parents whose babies may have a diagnosed anomaly, ensuring they feel supported, informed, and cared for every step of the way-from diagnosis through delivery. What You'll Do: Coordinate care for expectant mothers after a fetal anomaly is identified. Schedule multidisciplinary meetings and follow-up appointments with specialists (e.g., cardiology, neurosurgery, surgery) after diagnostic testing such as fetal MRI. Facilitate family meetings to ensure all questions are answered and care plans are clearly understood. Serve as a compassionate liaison between families, physicians, and other care teams throughout pregnancy and delivery. Maintain frequent communication with families, providing emotional support and guidance. Collaborate with internal and external specialists, including those in cardiac, NICU, and surgical services. Partner with another full-time RN to manage a caseload of 25-30 patients. Support families through sensitive situations, including comfort care, adoption, or pregnancy termination, ensuring their wishes are honored and supported. Schedule & Flexibility: Full-time, 4/10s schedule (Monday-Friday), typically 8 AM-5 PM with flexibility based on patient needs. Occasional early start times (as early as 6 AM). Shared on-call rotation for deliveries (calls are rare). Primarily based at the Thomas Campus, with the option to work remotely or from partner hospitals (Mercy Gilbert or Arrowhead) when appropriate. What You'll Bring: Minimum of 3 years of RN experience in NICU or OB. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Compassion, emotional resilience, and the ability to support families through difficult conversations. Desire to make a meaningful impact during a family's most vulnerable time.
