About The Position

Our Team Aladdin Wealth Tech's mission is to transform wealth management industry through technology and differentiate BlackRock as a strategic partner for our clients. As technology fundamentally reshapes the global wealth management industry, we partner with wealth managers to enhance their value proposition to their end clients, create rigor and scale in their investment process and grow their businesses during a period of rapid transformation in the industry. The Relationship Management team is part of Aladdin Wealth Tech within the Aladdin Business. It is responsible for maximizing the value of the Aladdin product through engagement and education, as well as working closely with clients to be their trusted consultant, problem solver, and business partner. This is a client facing role and you will be expected to build deep and highly effective partnerships with clients to understand and solve problems. We are seeking someone to bridge wealth client relationship management with expertise in client industry, financial markets, and the Aladdin Wealth ecosystem to maximize our value proposition and client outcomes.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of previous work experience in Wealth Management, Financial Markets, Technology or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of the financial markets as well as financial analytics. Risk management, financial modelling, or optimization experience as a plus.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey sophisticated concepts simply and clearly to clients.
  • The ability to face-off to external clients with solid project management and coordination skills, balancing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • The ability to thrive under pressure and enjoy a fast-paced environment, as well as set and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in software engineering/development (e.g., Python, Java, R, SQL, Unix).
  • Must have past demonstration of strong project management and leadership skills, and the ability to deliver large complex projects.

Responsibilities

  • Own relationships with client's home office management teams to understand their business objectives and needs and help them use Aladdin Wealth expertise to achieve their firm's goals.
  • Understand the client's business challenges and propose solutions leveraging Aladdin that drive value and adoption.
  • Contribute to the build-out of product capabilities, functioning as the internal representative for clients by driving alignment between the Aladdin Wealth offering and client needs.
  • Assist clients in leveraging Aladdin Wealth to its fullest through Engagement and Adoption Strategies.
  • Keep updated on regulatory and operational industry trends to help your clients stay ahead of changing times.
  • Serve as a subject matter knowledge lead on multiple Aladdin workflows and processes.
  • Help drive and uncover harvesting opportunities and onboarding additional client business by coordinating across product and sales teams.
  • Engage with clients to define key strategic and tactical initiatives, leveraging your internal network to oversee and execute cross-functional project solutions, from the inception of the project to the realization of the desired future state.
