The company is seeking experienced and highly motivated technologists with technical depth and strong interpersonal skills for an AWS Solutions Architect role. This position involves leading technical workshops, advising customers on architectural and strategic IT decisions, and designing scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures. The Solutions Architect acts as a trusted customer advocate, guiding organizations on best practices for advanced AWS cloud-based solutions and connecting technology with measurable business value. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS technologies and a broad understanding of application and service construction on the AWS platform. They should possess strong customer-facing skills to engage with senior personnel and a technical background to interact with developers and architects. The role requires structured thinking about business, product, and technical challenges, and a passion for continuous learning and skill development to contribute to deep architecture discussions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years enterprise IT application experience that includes at least 5 years of hands-on software development, DevOps engineering, systems administration, or systems architecture
• Well-rounded knowledge of systems, network, security, storage, cloud products and technologies in differing environments
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
• Demonstrated ability to architect and implement solutions on AWS
• Significant experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, networking and security
• History of successful technical consulting and architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises
• Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
• Experience working within the software development or Internet industries is highly desired.

• AWS Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
• AWS Certification: AWS Certified SysOps Admin - Associate
• Technical degree; B.Sc Computer Science is highly desired
• Demonstrated experience leading or developing high quality, enterprise-scale distributed applications using modern software development practices and technologies is highly desired

Responsibilities

• Understand the customer’s business & application requirements and translate them into system / technical requirements
• Provide exceptional AWS technical design and thought leadership
• Lead technical workshops and advise customers on architectural and strategic IT decisions
• Ensure success in designing, building and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform
• Educate customers on best practices to ensure their solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud
• Work with other AllCloud teams to ensure quality and customer success
• Capture and share knowledge with AllCloud’s broader technical experts community
• Provide both pre-sales architecture support to drive sales along with completing cloud architectural activities and engagements
