This brand-new position offers the opportunity to shape the company’s cloud and data ecosystem from the ground up. You will help define how data should flow, what information is needed, why it matters, and build custom tools and solutions that integrate with and enhance Entrata. The ideal candidate is an experienced, certified AWS professional who can work independently, lead strategically, and deliver scalable, secure, and innovative cloud-based solutions tailored to our industry.

  • Business Intelligence & Analytics Build interactive dashboards and reporting tools using AWS QuickSight.
  • Support operations, finance, and property management teams with data visualization, KPIs, and insights.

  • Strategy, Leadership & Custom Development Work in-office to understand the business strategy and define how data supports each function.
  • Develop custom tools and software that fit CLS Living’s needs and enhance Entrata’s capabilities.
  • Collaborate across departments to identify gaps and implement scalable, innovative solutions.
  • Serve as a key technical advisor and architect, providing guidance on data and cloud strategy.
  • Security & Compliance Apply AWS best practices for encryption, IAM policies, and compliance with internal standards.
  • Monitor and manage system health using CloudWatch, Config, and GuardDuty.
  • 5+ years of hands-on AWS architecture or data engineering experience.

  • Strong background in AWS services: S3, Lambda, Glue, QuickSight, CloudFormation, API Gateway, IAM, Bedrock.
  • Experience integrating and optimizing Entrata software or similar real estate management systems.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, or JavaScript for automation and integration.
  • Strategic thinker who can operate autonomously — this is not a junior-level role.
