Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experience cybersecurity public relations (PR) leader to help our customers and stakeholders understand how our unique security culture, capabilities, and innovation are making the world safer and more productive. The ideal candidate for this Senior PR Manager position has a proven track record of creating and executing media relations strategies within large, fast-moving global organizations. You will be able to demonstrate strong direct ownership of the programs you've run, the ability to earn the trust of internal and external stakeholders, and a history of generating high-impact security stories. This Senior AWS PR Manager will partner with security teams and executives across Amazon to identify story opportunities and provide strategic counsel to business leaders. A strong candidate enjoys diving deep into a wide range of security related technologies and topics to understand their impact on customers, then executing programs that explain these topics to media and third parties to better educate and inspire customers. Since 2006, AWS has changed the way that companies acquire and use technology by providing a highly-scalable, cost-effective, and flexible technology platform in the cloud. AWS is growing rapidly in the U.S. and around the world with customers ranging from startups to Fortune 500 corporations. This role is ideally based in Seattle (HQ1) or Virginia (HQ2) and requires periodic travel.
