About The Position

Vaco is actively seeking a Product Owner for a direct-hire opportunity to join an extremely stable and internationally respected financial services firm in St. Louis. The ideal candidate will blend exceptional communication, organization, and presentation skills along with technical proficiency within AWS ecosystems / migrations along with DevOps experience in a SAFe Agile environment. This role will serve as the strategic link between cross-functional teams and senior executive stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable product features that drive innovation, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Experience as a Scrum Master (or similar) with a proven track record of working in Agile / SAFe environments.
• Extremely strong communication, facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal skills with individuals at all levels of a structured international corporation.
• Familiarity with engineering best practices, such as CI/CD, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and DevOps principles.
• Prefer prior experience in a data-intensive, migration, and regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple agile teams through the Scrum process ensuring successful delivery of critical, customer-facing projects.
• Guide teams in the effective use of Kanban principles to visualize work, limit WIP (Work in Progress), and optimize flow to ensure continuous delivery and incremental improvement in service delivery.
• Guide Agile / SAFe practices to facilitate the incremental and adaptive delivery of products within teams.
• Promote and facilitate the adoption of key engineering practices such as Continuous Integration, Test Driven Development, and other methodologies to improve the quality and reliability of deliverables.
• Monitor and guide the team's progress toward their goals and commitments by improving quality, predictability, flow, and velocity.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, team demos, and retrospectives.
