About the position

We are seeking an experienced Manager of Opportunity Management to drive the data strategy and intelligence capabilities for AWS Partner Marketing globally. This role combines strategic business acumen to support a $20B+ partner ecosystem and enable data-driven decision making across 300+ AWS leaders with the deep technical expertise in data engineering to deliver deep insights that drive scale and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the Global Opportunity Hub, serving 300+ AWS leaders including 200+ PMMs/vPMMs
  • Drive measurement strategy for key business areas including Generative AI, Strategic Workloads, Marketplace, Public Sector, and Migration & Modernization initiatives
  • Partner with GCIPM Operations to align lead flow results from numerous complex lead management systems and disparate data sources for executive reporting (WBR, QBR, OP1, OP2, goal setting)
  • Represent Partner Marketing intelligence in cross-functional initiatives and present at All Employee calls
  • Lead monthly Everboarding sessions to enable 200+ PMMs/vPMMs on opportunity management capabilities
  • Leverage AI/ML technologies, insights, and techniques to drive strategic growth and scale in opportunity management for 2025 and beyond, helping to uncover deeper business insights, improve productivity, and optimize partner engagement
  • Design and implement data integration solutions across multiple complex systems (SFDC, AMPS, APFP, ACE, JMP, partner systems, etc.)
  • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines to process partner marketing data from diverse sources
  • Integrate tools built in Smartsheet (e.g., Joint Marketing Plans) with enterprise systems and partner platforms
  • Develop automated reporting solutions for major events (re:Invent, Summits)
  • Ensure data quality and governance across all intelligence solutions
  • Automate manual data integration functions such as weekly manual attribution and partner coverage
  • Create and maintain executive-level dashboards and reports
  • Drive attribution modeling for critical strategic initiatives
  • Analyze partner marketing performance metrics to identify growth opportunities and business insights
  • Support $20B+ lead flow results measurement and optimization across complex, interconnected systems
  • Enable data-driven decision making across Partner Marketing globally

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Analytics, or related field
  • 10+ years experience in analytics, with at least 5 years in leadership roles
  • Expert-level SQL skills and experience with major BI platforms
  • Strong experience with data pipeline development and ETL processes
  • Proven track record of building scalable analytics solutions
  • Excellence in stakeholder management and executive communication

  • Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
  • Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint
