As a DevOps engineer, you know how to set up cloud environments and provision computer networking, storage, and virtual networks —ultimately, how to “harness the cloud.” We’re looking for a n experienced DevOps infrastructure engineer like you to support our clients as they modernize their IT infrastructures and meet their most challenging missions. As a DevOps infrastructure engineer at EverWatch , you’ll work closely with cloud architects and engineers to manage server configuration for modern cloud solutions. You’ll your skills within a DevOps framework to establish or provision virtual machines or networks and use cloud service providers to further your clients’ meaningful missions. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with AWS services and cloud-native architecture patterns such as ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, SageMaker, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM policies, security groups, and network security
  • 3+ years of experience with containerization such as Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, and container orchestration
  • 3+ years of experience with Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and security documentation
  • 3+ years of experience with secrets management and security automation
  • Experience with DevOps Monitoring such as CloudWatch or Prometheus, logging, and alerting
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience with bash or python scripting and CI/CD tools and practices such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI
  • 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code such as AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation
  • 3+ years of experience with disaster recovery
  • 2+ years of experience in TypeScript, Python, or other OOP language and writing and reviewing code for enterprise scale applications
  • Experience in security scanning tools and DevSecOps practices such as SonarQube or Snyk
  • Experience with security compliance automation and continuous monitoring, and system design with focus on scalability and reliability
  • Experience with database administration and optimization such as RDS, DynamoDB, or MongoDB, serverless architecture expertise such as Lambda or API Gateway, and leading technical initiatives in large-scale environments
  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements
  • AWS certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect
  • IAT Level II+ certification such as Security+ or CISSP
