About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Conversational AI Developer with strong expertise in AWS Lex and hands-on experience in Google Dialogflow (CX/ES) to design, build, and optimize intelligent conversational bots for voice and chat channels. The ideal candidate will have a background in Python development, cloud platforms, and natural language understanding (NLU) solutions, along with experience integrating bots into enterprise ecosystems.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Conversational AI / Chatbot Development.
  • Hands-on expertise in AWS Lex.
  • Experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Amazon Connect).
  • Proficiency in Python, Node.js, or Java for custom fulfillment and integrations.
  • Strong understanding of NLU/NLP concepts, intents, entities, and contexts.
  • Basic understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) like Gemini, or Claude.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred; GCP exposure is a plus).
  • Experience integrating bots with telephony, IVR systems, and messaging platforms (WhatsApp, Slack, MS Teams, etc.).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and agile methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to design scalable bot architectures.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Google CCAI (Contact Center AI).
  • Exposure to Azure Bot Framework or Rasa.
  • Experience in multi-lingual bot development.
  • Knowledge of analytics platforms (Amazon CloudWatch, Dialogflow Insights, Kibana, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Google Dialogflow.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy conversational bots using AWS Lex.
  • Build and manage conversation flows, intents, slots/entities, fulfillment, and error handling.
  • Integrate bots with backend systems, APIs, CRMs, and contact center platforms (e.g., Amazon Connect, Twilio, Genesys).
  • Implement multi-turn conversations, contextual understanding, and natural dialog experiences.
  • Optimize and tune NLU models for higher intent accuracy and better customer experience.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into conversation designs, and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Implement analytics and monitoring to track bot performance and user interactions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Architects, Product Owners) to ensure scalable and secure deployments.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in Conversational AI, LLMs, and Generative AI integrations.
