AWS Infrastructure Lead
About The Position
We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Infrastructure Lead who brings a rare combination of deep technical proficiency, infrastructure knowledge, and natural leadership ability. This is a newly created role designed for someone who can be hands-on while also mentoring a growing team (currently Carl and Evan) and helping elevate the organization's AWS and networking capabilities. The ideal candidate is an AWS-focused technical expert with the desire-and capability-to grow into a formal management role. 5-8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure roles (AWS Architect, AWS Engineer, Infrastructure Lead, or similar)
Requirements
- AWS EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, RDS/DB services
- Networking fundamentals (WAFs, VPCs, subnets, security groups, routing)
- CloudFormation or other IaC tools
- Strong knowledge of Windows environments; familiarity with Linux (even better if driving Linux workload offboarding)
- Prior experience mentoring or leading technical teams (formal or informal)
- Ability to balance hands-on technical work with higher-level leadership responsibilities
