About The Position

Opportunity: We are searching for an experienced AWS Developer to join our dynamic IT team in Fort Meade, MD. This hybrid role requires candidates to work approximately 2–3 days per week on-site. In this role, you will support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of web-based applications hosted on AWS, with a focus on implementing AWS-managed services, container orchestration, infrastructure as code (CDK or Terraform), and Python-based automation. This role may also include interfacing with both relational and non-relational data sources, and contributing to DevOps pipelines, with full stack and JavaScript/TypeScript experience considered a plus. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS services, Python scripting, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code tools like CDK or Terraform. You will also contribute to building scalable cloud solutions, integrating various data sources, and supporting DevOps automation practices. Requirements
- 7-9 years of professional experience supporting the design, development, testing, and maintenance of web-based applications hosted on AWS, with a focus on implementing AWS-managed services, container orchestration, infrastructure as code (CDK or Terraform), and Python-based automation.
- Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U.S. citizenship status.
- An active Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) Security Clearance is required.
- Must be able to work approximately 2–3 days per week on-site in Fort Meade, MD.
Nice To Haves
- JavaScript/TypeScript (preferred but not required)
- Full stack and JavaScript/TypeScript experience considered a plus.
