About The Position

The AWS DevOps Engineer at CGI Technologies and Solutions, Inc. will play a crucial role in the Healthcare Practice by leveraging their expertise in Terraform and DevOps methodologies. This position focuses on implementing and managing DevOps/DevSecOps platforms and processes to support Agile application development teams, ensuring continuous integration, testing, and deployment. The engineer will be responsible for hands-on DevOps activities, automation, and configuration management of environments, contributing to the overall efficiency and security of cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Terraform
  • Experience with AWS services such as S3, SNS, SQS, RDS, ECS, EC2, EKS, API Gateway, CloudWatch
  • Proficiency in UDeploy (scripting and deployment practices)
  • Experience with GitLab/GitHub setup
  • Knowledge of Nexus, Windows server, Java Tomcat, Jenkins, Groovy Scripting
  • Familiarity with OpenShift, Docker, CA APM monitoring setup, TFS
  • Experience with ESP, Splunk, Veracode, Sonarqube, Maven, PowerShell scripting, Shell scripting, Liquibase, Checkmark
  • Good communication skills
  • Team-oriented and able to work independently
  • Bachelor's Degree

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and improve continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Manage AWS infrastructure, including automated configuration management and containerization.
  • Implement security scans, test automation, and ensure continuous delivery and production deployments.
  • Perform cloud infrastructure management tasks and collaborate with Security and other technical teams.
  • Set up, integrate, document, and maintain CI/CD tools and processes.
  • Stay current with the latest technologies and industry best practices.
  • Conduct investigations and analysis to provide recommendations on technology improvements.
  • Assign tasks and review work products of developers.
  • Troubleshoot across multiple applications and create run books and playbooks.
  • Provide insights and design patterns for building the CI/CD pipeline.
