About The Position

The AWS DevOps Engineer at 834 Labs is responsible for building and managing CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, infrastructure management, and automating processes. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of software development and operational endeavors, utilizing Agile methodologies and focusing on enhancing operational efficiency in insurance markets.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience deploying and maintaining distributed systems in AWS.
• Advanced knowledge of AWS services including EC2, VPC, EBS, NLB/ALB, SNS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, Lambda, and Elastic Container Service (ECS).
• Proficient with Git and GitHub workflows.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipeline automation and tools.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience, including team collaboration and code repository management.
• 2+ years of active engagement in an Agile/Scrum team.

Nice To Haves

• RPA experience (e.g., UI/Path, creating robots).
• Experience as a mentor or tech lead.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and related orchestration technologies.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement and maintain monitoring stacks.
• Automate recurring tasks and streamline software development and deployment processes.
• Integrate automated processes and testing configurations.
• Set up environments for application development and monitor performance.
• Ensure security and compliance of systems and processes.
• Conduct testing throughout each environment and perform root cause analysis.
• Manage production and non-production workloads with Docker containers.
• Provide technical support and root cause analysis for production errors.
