About The Position

As an Amazon Web Services ( AWS ) engineer, you’ll join a team of highly skilled and motivated engineers to design, build, and maintain products and services for our clients. You’ll coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate your client’s IT needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. We need to come up with the best solution, so you’ll advise on new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going. You’ll lead the team through a critical approach to network design, providing alternatives and customizing solutions to maintain a balance of security and business needs. This is a chance to make a difference in the security of commer cia l clients. You’ll be able to broaden your skillset into areas like Cloud architecture and infrastructure, orchestration and automation, artifi cia l intelligence ( AI ) and machine learning, and threat intelligence while building peace of mind in a critical infrastructure. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience designing and deploying complex solutions in AWS
  • Experience working in government Cloud environments, including AWS GovCloud, MilCloud, or C2S
  • Experience with multiple operating systems, including UNIX, Linux, and Windows
  • Experience with AWS, including VPCs, EC2, Network, ELB, and S3
  • Experience with automation for Cloud environments, including CI / CD pipelines and infrastructure as code
  • Experience with programming languages and practices, including scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Bash
  • Knowledge of web services environments, languages, and formats, including RESTful APIs, HTML, JavaScript, XML, KML, SOAP, and JSON
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience working with other Cloud Service Provider s, including Micro sof t Azure or Google Cloud
  • Experience with Agile development met hods

  • The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD).
  • The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
