About The Position

As an AWS Cloud Engineer, you will manage, administer, support, and enhance cloud environments, ensuring continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution. You will apply specific functional knowledge, including working or general industry knowledge, and develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. The role requires you to work independently with some guidance and review or guide the activities of more junior employees.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience deploying and maintaining AWS environments and resources.
• Experience using the Linux operating system and Bash scripting.
• Knowledge of AWS core services such as EC2, S3, or Lambda.
• Knowledge of AWS networking concepts such as VPCs, subnets, or security groups.
• Ability to work in an Agile, team-based environment using collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Ability to obtain a DoD IAT Level II or Level III Certification within 60 days of hire date.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Java, C, C++, or Go.
• Experience with build automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, or DevSecOps.
• Experience interacting with AWS APIs programmatically, such as Boto3.
• Experience writing and maintaining CloudFormation templates.
• Experience in diagnosing and resolving issues within AWS environments.
• Experience with software or systems architecture.
• Knowledge of IAM roles, policies, users, and groups.
• TS/SCI clearance.
• DoD IAT Level II or Level III Certification.
