The AWS Business Development Account Executive role will be instrumental in driving sales activity between the Presidio and AWS sales organizations. Leading the efforts with a strong emphasis on co-selling and co-marketing motions, and a deep understanding of both the AWS and Presidio ecosystems, this person will help design, launch and drive various enablement and strategic go-to-market plays, working cross-functionally and collaboratively both internally and externally. This is a unique opportunity at Presidio to have a significant impact in accelerating the scale and hypergrowth of our AWS business and partnership. Travel Requirements: In this role, you'll be expected to travel up to 25%. This role is remote.

  • Deep understanding and working knowledge of AWS's ecosystem including cloud technologies, Partner Center portal, sales organization, and value proposition in marketplace, with a particular lens toward HCLS customer needs such as compliance, data privacy, and innovation in patient care and drug development.
  • Deep working knowledge of Presidio's ecosystem, and ability to work cross-functionally throughout various organizations that align with the AWS business, including CSP Licensing, professional services, managed services, marketing, sales, etc.
  • Participate in sales planning activities such as QBRs and detailed account reviews specific to the HCLS vertical.
  • Proactively engage existing clients and prospects in the HCLS space independently or alongside Presidio sales.
  • Identify and qualify HCLS-specific sales opportunities, understanding regulatory drivers, clinical and operational priorities, and technology adoption curves in the sector.
  • Champion both the Presidio and AWS value propositions to healthcare and life sciences stakeholders, highlighting joint differentiation such as scalability, security, and analytics capabilities.
  • Act as a liaison to the Presidio sales organization; engage sellers to help drive business development and pipeline growth in the HCLS sector through enablement, account planning, strategic GTM plays, and AWS field alignment.
  • Build and nurture relationships with AWS HCLS field teams and relevant AWS product teams.
  • Collaborate with Presidio and AWS stakeholders to create targeted GTM strategies for healthcare and life sciences use cases (e.g., clinical data lakes, genomics pipelines, healthcare AI/ML applications).
  • Contribute to the development and execution of joint sales and marketing programs aligned to the HCLS customer journey.
  • Bachelor's degree or related military or work experience
  • 5+ years within the AWS partner ecosystem, with a strong understanding of AWS
  • Excellent MS Office Skills
  • 1+ years experience in HCLS industry, either selling or business development
