About The Position

We have an immediate need for an AWS Architect who is local to Atlanta and willing to be work onsite at our client's headquarters (Atlanta, GA 30349) at least once a week, possibly more. This will be a full-time, W-2 or independent contractor engagement for 6 months to a year with the possibility of extension. We are seeking a strong AWS architect who is also strong with DevOps to join this innovative team!

Requirements

• 5 - 7 years of experience in an AWS environment, ideally with Networking configurations, Terraform and Infrastructure as Code, AWS Security configurations, WAF, Transit Gateways, Loadbalancers, Account creation automation tooling, Compute and container services, Lambda, CloudWatch
• 2 - 3 years experience with Grafana or similar
• 3 - 5 years experience designing and implementing new Account structures and full application deployments in AWS
• 2 - 3 years of experience with at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Go, Typescript, or JavaScript
• 2 - 3 years of experience with Linux and Docker

• Risks & high-level mitigation strategies
• Benchmark for success metrics and internal communications
• Design and build environments leveraging best practices and lessons learned from CFA peers and other clients
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code to build out infrastructure, networking, and security configurations lending themselves to support Deployment Automation
• Configure monitoring infrastructure and dashboards, help evaluate success of monitoring and tooling
• Build and manage DevOps infrastructure and tooling (adopting existing or developing new)
• Providing general infrastructure build and manage support and operations as identified
• Design and implement backup management strategies and disaster recovery processes as needed
• Support rapid development approach which allows for quick iteration of ideas and concepts
• Provide testing and validation of approach of developed solutions
• Provide ongoing support of development operations and system maintenance as needed
