About The Position

The Vice President of Structured Lending Underwriting at Goldman Sachs Private Bank in Dallas is responsible for underwriting loans to Private Wealth Management clients. Requirements

• CFA or CPA is a plus.
• Detailed knowledge of financial accounting, analysis, and modeling.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong project management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, underwrite, document, and monitor credit and business risks in loan transactions.
• Evaluate loan opportunities and develop loan structures that meet client needs and bank risk requirements.
• Work closely with the Regional Lending Team to source and identify potential transactions.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the Bank's risk tolerance and deal structure preferences.
• Document loan structures and analyses for capital committee approval.
• Participate in loan document negotiations to ensure consistency with approved structures.
• Lead portfolio management activities, including client interaction and documentation of loan approvals.
• Interact with banking regulators as needed and provide support for the loan portfolio.
• Develop and implement training materials for team members and assist in recruiting and retaining underwriting staff.
• Foster strong communication with various teams and clients.
