Requirements

• Current State of California Registered Nurse License in Active status.
• Current BLS certification; current ACLS certification.
• Two (2) years minimum, recent experience (within previous 3 years) as an Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab RN / or Interventional Radiology RN with hemodynamic monitoring experience required.
• CCRN Preferred.
• Two (2) years minimum, recent conscious sedation experience preferred.
• Completion of basic 12-lead EKG class (completion date- prior to 60th day of employment) as required.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing support and nursing processes including patient assessment and intervention during Invasive Interventional Radiology and invasive Cardiac Cath Lab procedures.
• Provides direct patient care during the pre-procedural, intra-procedural, and post-procedural phases.
• Performs a variety of nursing functions within the Cardiovascular Services (CVS) Department including invasive and non-invasive cardiology; and patient holding areas.
• Other duties as required.
