About The Position

As an Awake Overnight Counselor at Vinfen, you will provide essential support to individuals with behavioral conditions and intellectual disabilities in a residential setting. Your role involves collaborating with clients, their families, and other support staff to enhance their quality of life and promote independence. This position requires administering medication, implementing treatment plans, and assisting with daily living activities, all while ensuring a safe and supportive environment during overnight hours.

Requirements

  • Three months to one year of experience in a related function.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid US driver's license for at least 6 months.
  • Ability to become CPR, First Aid, and Safety Care certified within 60 days of employment.
  • Ability to become MAC certified within 150 days of employment.
  • Must pass a CORI and SORI reference check, multi-state background check, and driving record check.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support to individuals with behavioral conditions and intellectual disabilities.
  • Administer medication under the Medication Administration Plan (MAP).
  • Implement treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Assist individuals with activities of daily living.
  • Perform nightly cleaning and filing duties.
