The Branch Manager at Old Second National Bank is responsible for overseeing the retail performance of the largest branch in Downtown Aurora. This role includes ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, providing exceptional customer service, coaching staff, and achieving sales goals. The Branch Manager will lead the team, manage operations, and maintain high customer service standards while actively engaging with the community.

  • Manage the retail performance of the bank branch, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Provide leadership and direction for all branch sales goals and operations.
  • Adhere to operational and security policies, resolving any exceptions or violations.
  • Conduct structured coaching, one-on-ones, and performance appraisals for staff.
  • Partner with the Regional Manager for staff training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and handle last-minute changes.
  • Maintain customer service standards through effective leadership.
  • Utilize CRM software to manage and monitor sales activities in the branch.
  • Support retail staff in their career development through training and resources.
  • Participate in community activities and maintain visibility with local organizations.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent and five or more years of banking experience.
  • Must become licensed with NMLS registration within 60 days of assuming the role.
  • Extensive knowledge of Teller operations, policies, and regulations.
  • Proven track record of effective leadership skills and achievement of sales goals.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Base pay of $60,000 - $90,000 annually.
  • Eligible to participate in the Retail Incentive Plan based on branch performance.
