POSITION SUMMARY: Build and maintain strategic relationships with executive leadership, Radiologists, and joint venture partners to align Outpatient IT goals with organizational objectives. Define and track monthly strategic objectives and performance improvement plans, providing regular analytical updates to all key stakeholders. Oversee the Outpatient Application team to ensure seamless system maintenance, upgrades, and the standardization of national best practices. Manage IT resource allocation, including onsite support and personnel, to execute complex projects, site rollouts, and system migrations. Serve as the primary escalation point for the market to resolve critical IT concerns, practice inquiries, and service delivery delays. Collaborate with the Innovation Team and IT Service Lane Leaders to implement leading-edge technology solutions for key clients. Coordinate hardware upgrades and equipment transitions, ensuring staff are provided with the necessary access, training, and support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Systems or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of diverse IT experience
  • 5–7 years managing medium–large IT or business projects, ideally in outpatient radiology
  • Ability to facilitate working sessions, document workflows, gather requirements, and work with physicians and support staff
  • Experience with HL7, PACS, voice recognition systems, healthcare workflows, and process flow documentation.
  • Proven ability to understand customer needs, gather stakeholder insights, and develop effective IT strategies and solutions.
  • Experience managing clinical application projects; ability to define application requirements and evaluate vendor offerings; adaptable to new technologies.
  • Strong work ethic, self-starter, able to work independently or on a diverse team; detail-oriented and organized with a talent for identifying improvement opportunities; positive attitude, honesty, and integrity.
