We are looking for a Tech Lead, Sr. Data Engineer to lead the development of consumer-centric low latency analytic environment leveraging Big Data and AWS technologies. The Technical Lead must have a balanced mix of technical and business skills and often works with enterprise architects for strategic direction. The Technical Lead needs significant people and process skills, with ability to communicate complex ideas and issues in simple terms to project teams, external clients, and often senior management. They also need to deeply understand the business processes to create a cohesive vision of the products and services. This is an exciting, fast-paced, rapidly changing, and challenging work environment, and will play an important role in resolving and influencing high-level decisions across Synchrony. You may be occasionally requested to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and culture events.
