Requirements

  • 8-10 years of progressive learning & development experience required with partnered ownership of talent management and/or L&D portfolios with L & D Leadership team.
  • 3+ years leading teams and cross‑functional initiatives with leaders and senior leaders (Manager, AVP/VP/SVP) required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR/OD/IO Psychology/Business required; certification(s) in coaching, instructional design, or HR (e.g., SPHR/SHRM‑SCP) preferred.
  • Experience in financial services or highly regulated environments is strongly preferred.
  • Proven record driving measurable improvements in retention, internal mobility, leadership pipeline strength, and training ROI.
  • Expertise in competency frameworks, succession planning, performance management, adult learning principles, and LMS administration.

Nice To Haves

  • certification(s) in coaching, instructional design, or HR (e.g., SPHR/SHRM‑SCP) preferred.
  • Experience in financial services or highly regulated environments is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute an enterprise talent strategy covering succession planning, high‑potential identification, and internal mobility frameworks.
  • Modernize performance enablement (goals, feedback, development plans) to emphasize coaching and measurable growth.
  • Own the enterprise learning portfolio: leadership programs, technical academies, and certification pathways.
  • Oversight and delivery of tiered programs for emerging leaders, leadership development, high level leader (AVP, VP, SVP) development, to include executive coaching aligned to engagement rhythm as determined by SVP,HR and outside consultant.
  • Define KPIs and dashboards (internal fill rate, promotion velocity, training ROI, retention of high performers, engagement lift in targeted cohorts).
