The AVP, Software Dev Test QE Manager at LPL Financial LLC will work as a leader/trainer in a large, complex QA organization, demonstrating the ability to implement scalable automation solutions. This role involves leading a team of Software Development Engineers in Test (SDETs) working in an Agile model to support domain delivery teams in achieving consistent, predictable, high-quality releases. The manager will implement common practices, tools, metrics, and automation frameworks while delivering high-quality solutions that meet business objectives in a flexible, collaborative, and rapidly changing environment. Responsibilities include managing resources across different geographical locations and offshore vendors, providing end-to-end performance testing guidance, and driving innovative testing solutions within a complex Enterprise Platform. The role also involves educating the team on Security, Accessibility scans/testing, and PLSQL, as well as providing guidance on testing AI/ML powered applications/Bots. The manager will attract, hire, empower, and develop the best engineers while driving quality metrics to improve customer quality and release efficiency, reducing regression cycle time and time to market.
