Thank you for your interest in joining the Nusenda team! We are currently seeking an AVP of Small Business Relationship Management . As the AVP of Small Business Relationship Management , you'll oversee the daily operations of Nusenda's small business function focusing on account opening, loan origination, portfolio growth, and member engagement. You will ensure timely and accurate handling of loan and membership applications, professional interactions with members, and proper distribution of relationship managers throughout the Nusenda footprint while adhering to regulations. You'll be responsible for relationship manager workflows, coordinating with underwriting and operations teams ensuring compliance of all documentation requirements. Additionally, you will provide leadership, performance management, and guidance to a relationship manager team

Requirements

  • Five years to eight years of similar or related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
  • Prior Relationship Manager or Loan Officer experience
  • Must be able to handle multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, deal with sensitive information and handle problem resolution.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to work with multiple levels of the organization.
  • Development, performance management, training, and employee counseling skills essential.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced experience with Customer Relationship Management ( CRM) systems such as Sales Force or Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of SBA eligibility requirements and required documentation, along with a general understanding of prudent lending standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee, coordinate, and assist in the daily activity of the Small Business department(s) to include assignment of duties and special projects, monitoring workload and productivity, planning and prioritization, problem resolution, and develops recommendations for change or improvement.
  • Provide oversight of Relationship Managers who engage directly with members and businesses through account openings, loan applications, and portfolio development.
  • Ensure effective workflow distribution, monitors productivity, and prioritizes tasks to achieve growth objectives.
  • Guide Relationship Managers in maintaining strong member relationships while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Resolve operational challenges and develops recommendations to enhance efficiency, member experience, and portfolio quality.
  • Collaborate with Underwriting, Operations, and other departments to streamline processes, strengthen risk management, and support initiatives that advance the Credit Union’s small business lending strategy.
  • Support VP of Small Business by providing pipeline reporting and updates monthly or as requested
