We are seeking motivated, self-reliant lawyers with unique litigation experience to join our Litigation team. This role involves managing a fast-paced, diverse, and complex national commercial litigation docket, working closely with in-house colleagues, outside counsel, and business clients. Excellent academic credentials and a minimum of 6 years of experience are required. Well-qualified candidates will have trial experience at federal government agencies (e.g., DOJ, SEC, or US Attorney) or large law firms, or supervisory experience in large corporate litigation departments. Class-action, mass tort, or MDL experience are a plus. Interested candidates should provide a resume, writing sample, references, and GPA / class rank. Office position located in Dallas. Overall Purpose: A highly experienced attorney with 6+ years of law experience, supervises a team of attorneys, provides strategic legal counsel, and manages complex legal matters to ensure compliance and protect the organization’s interests. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following: • Managing Complex Legal Matters: Oversee and manage complex legal projects, including litigation, regulatory compliance, contract negotiation, and dispute resolution. • Providing Strategic Legal Counsel: Offer expert legal advice and guidance to senior leadership and company managers on a wide range of legal issues. • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, and implement risk management strategies. • Contract Review and Negotiation: Review, draft, and negotiate significant corporate legal documents, contracts, and agreements to protect the organization’s interests. • Team Leadership and Internal Operations: Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of experienced attorneys, and manage part of the internal operations of the Law Department. Job Contribution: An industry-recognized expert, developing resolutions for critical issues and significant design matters. Innovates and implements company-wide technologies and/or processes, impacting future concepts and products. As a senior strategic advisor, their actions have long-term effects on company success. Works autonomously, continuously engaging with senior leaders and often serving as an external spokesperson.

Requirements

  • Excellent academic credentials and a minimum of 6 years of experience are required.
  • Requires a law degree and an active license in good standing to practice law in assigned state.
  • 6+ years of related experience.

Nice To Haves
