Job Summary: The Commercial Lines, Sr. Broker (AVP level) has responsibilities in growing organic revenue for the Atlantic Region, Middle Market clients through an integrated selling strategy. In this role, you will manage sales results, maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospect stakeholders. Manage a small team of Account Managers while being a lead in the marketplace and broking the business. This is a full-time role with the flexibility of a hybrid schedule in our Charlotte, NC office. We will consider a remote option for well-experienced candidates. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manage and execute broking strategies for Middle Market accounts. Negotiate terms and pricing with carriers; resolve placement challenges. Develop and maintain strong carrier and client relationships. Ensure compliance with brokerage standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with Broking Lead and Head of Brokerage on portfolio initiatives. Coach and develop Associate Broker/s; delegate tasks effectively Support prospecting, cross-sell, and up-sell opportunities. Drive utilization of preferred carriers, panels, and strategic programs. Contribute to achieving team KPIs: growth, retention, margin. Coordinate with underwriters. Leads sales activities with P&C middle market clients and prospects. Implement sales plans and budgets for the Atlantic region and strategic goals and standards. Negotiates coverage terms and pricing with carriers. Reviews sales results with other members of the sales team, strategizing changes and troubleshooting problems. Confers with VP and senior management on setting and achieving integrated selling targets.
