About The Position

The AVP, Senior Accounting Analyst is responsible for providing critical cross functional support within Client Accounting (US and Asia). This role will have responsibility for the monthly preparation and/or review of assigned client contractual obligations and incentives to ensure compliance with current program agreements and internal operational CTQs, support in the review and approval of journal entries and payment requests, planning and management of monthly tasks, working closely with Finance Managers to support client programs across all platforms, providing direct support to accounting managers, and the identification and implementation of process improvements. In additional this role will support client program changes and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or in lieu of degree, 5-7 years' equivalent accounting experience
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review monthly contractual incentives/invoices for assigned clients to ensure compliance with client program agreements
  • Participate in monthly financial close process
  • Support account reconciliation process as needed
  • Review of monthly dashboards and research variances as needed
  • Provide training within Client Accounting as designated by managers, including development of training materials
  • Identify and drive implementation of process improvements and controllership initiatives
  • Maintain high-level and detailed process maps for client accounting processes
  • Develop process documentation as needed
  • Maintain and enhance existing SOP's as dictated by corporate requirements
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
