About The Position

The Assistant Vice President, Risk Management, will assist in developing risk training programs, facilitating routine surveys, maintaining enterprise-wide risk culture programs, analyzing risk data, assisting with communication programs, and assisting with other programs to support a strong risk culture. The position is responsible for overseeing the Risk training curriculum, communication plan, and partnership events. Additionally, this role will support the project management of the Enterprise Risk program.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of financial services experience
  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics (or a related discipline)
  • Ability to take initiative, identify opportunities, and implement change
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment
  • Ability to create/develop and articulate pragmatic plans and actions
  • Self-motivated
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong Microsoft Office 365 experience (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Teams & Outlook)

  • Strong Presentation Skills
  • Strategic Agility: Envisions the big picture and executes at scale, anticipates future consequences and trends, leverages KPIs to understand what's happening with the business

Responsibilities

  • Support risk training, departmental intranet sites, communication, and partnership programs
  • Develop Risk training content and manage ongoing updates to the training program
  • Draft newsletters, program announcements, and other communications and materials
  • Plan and coordinate Risk partnership events
  • Develop and analyze surveys to solicit feedback and assess the efficacy of programs
  • Assist in the development and execution of strategic risk initiatives and frameworks
  • Project manage Enterprise Risk Management program implementation
  • Coordinate across Risk leads and business stakeholders for ongoing framework consistency
