About The Position

ESIS – AVP, Medical Programs Manager ESIS®, Inc., a Chubb company, provides claim and risk management services to a wide variety of commercial clients. Reporting to the VP Product Management, the AVP Medical Product manager will lead ESIS medical programs and provide business expertise, direction, and project management of the design, implementation and supporting medical program solutions at ESIS. Working closely with ESIS medical programs SME’s, business groups, operations, ESIS IT, strategic partners, customers and Chubb resources, this individual will provide leadership for the project management, documentation, requirements, design, ongoing product roadmaps, integration, and delivery of solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree
10+ years of Product Development experience
5+ years of Medical Programs experience
5+ years of project management or client implementation management experience, preferably in a TPA environment
Strong understanding of data integration protocols (e.g., XML, JSON, SFTP, etc.) and integration platforms
Ability to drive insights from data and assess input/output production files for accuracy and quality.
Experience in managing projects, including taking ownership of project tasks and assisting with the prioritization of initiatives as well as explicit experience in the application of these principles to developing medical programs solutions.
Develop business requirements and work with SMEs to ensure these are met; provide support in establishing processes related to business requirements and development.
Effective communication with internal and external partners to integrate changes and resolve issues.
Proven ability to successfully collaborate with client stakeholders from various parts of the organization and drive successful cross-functional outcomes.
Experience in managing third-party vendors.
Act as Quality Assurance support in technical development, reviewing test results to enhance product quality.
Ability to write up Jira tickets, manage Jira boards, and understand system functionalities to drive outcomes.
Work to reduce error counts and rejection rates, identify efficiencies, and assist with the development of enhancements and fixes.
A track record of innovative thinking and problem solving.
Assist in the development of Medical Programs team members, focusing on support and growth.
Understanding of medical programs, particularly in relation to error reduction and integration changes.
Ability to assess data quality and align procedures with business requirements.
Provide support for ESIS systems and address partner inquiries as well as audit questions.
Proven ability to effectively prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
Ability to consolidate client needs into product features
Strong presentation skills necessary to communicate, and persuade, a wide range of audiences
Proficiency in MS Office, as well as Internet research tools
Passion for delivering the best client experience, both internally and externally
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with all levels of staff and management across multiple partner teams
Ability to effectively respond to dynamically changing work environment and to positively influence business outcomes

Responsibilities

Drive insights and recommendations from Medical Programs perspective as well as with Operations and key partners across the organization
Work to reduce error counts and rejection rates in the batch processes involving medical programs
Develop business requirements for functionality that we prioritize for delivery on ESIS Medical Programs
Drive third party vendor management
Assist in appropriate prioritization of above initiatives
Work with internal and external partners to prepare for and integrate any changes to medical programs
Review test results to drive the creation of enhancements and code/data fixes to improve the product
Assist with the establishment, alignment and maintenance of processes and procedures related to Business Requirements and Development across the Product Management and IT departments
Provide support for all ESIS Systems
Identify benefits and efficiencies to be gained with new processes and system functionality
Take ownership of project tasks assigned
Work with SMEs to vet business requirements and ensure these requirements are met
Act as SME and QA support for Medical Programs technical development for any new initiatives
Support all internal partner questions and issues as well as all audit questions and research needed
Assess input and output production files pertaining to all medical programs to ensure data quality/accuracy is in line with ESIS expectations
Develop Jira tickets and create/run Jira board for our Medical Programs product to drive outcomes and changes
