The AVP, Procurement - Coupa Admin role at Marriott Vacations Worldwide is a strategic and operational leadership position aimed at optimizing the organization's procure-to-pay (P2P) processes. This role is a pivotal part of MVW’s new operating model and is integral to the entire procurement lifecycle, ensuring efficient P2P processes, effective contract compliance, mitigating third-party risk, and fostering strong relationships with strategic suppliers. The AVP reports to the VP of Procurement Operations and is responsible for driving day-to-day management and continuous improvement of procurement processes, systems, and teams. The position emphasizes operational excellence, leveraging AI and automation to enhance transactional efficiency and strategic value, with the ultimate goal of building a world-class, data-driven procurement organization. The Procurement Operations team collaborates closely with Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Performance, and the Procurement Center of Excellence, all of whom report to the group’s Head of Procurement. The role involves developing and executing a comprehensive procurement operations strategy, providing expert knowledge in optimizing the Coupa Business Spend Management Platform, and leading a procurement transformation effort to transition from manual to proactive, data-driven models.
