The AVP, Primary Servicing role at SitusAMC is responsible for managing the primary servicing function within Situs Asset Management (SAM). This position oversees daily operations and reporting obligations for clients' portfolios of commercial real estate loans, requiring high levels of interaction and communication with management, staff, clients, and third parties.   • Manage research requests and support the asset management team in addressing borrower, investor, or third-party inquiries.
  • Train new team members.
  • Review mortgage/deed of trust, loan agreements, and commitment letters to determine servicing requirements.
  • Manage the onboarding of new loans and modifications, validating accuracy within the core servicing system.
  • Review third-party reports to determine property-specific escrow requirements.
  • Manage communication flow between Borrower and Lender/Client along with the assigned asset manager.
  • Oversee the monthly payment process, including invoicing and billing statements.
  • Review payoff demands for accuracy.
  • Manage property taxes and insurance coverage, coordinating with appropriate departments.
  • Prepare and ensure all reporting requirements are met, including investor remittance reporting and delinquencies.
  • Analyze and interpret legal documents associated with loan administration.
  • Draft and implement policies and procedures, monitoring their effectiveness.
  • Resolve non-compliant issues through communication with internal and external parties.
  • Evaluate resources to ensure specific goals and deadlines are achievable.
  • Perform quality control on completed products and communicate results to team members.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance/accounting, business, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 6+ years of industry experience, with at least 1 year in a Senior Associate role or equivalent.
  • Preferred experience in commercial real estate, cash management, loan servicing, and escrow management.
  • High comfort level with various industry-related software systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong leadership skills and professionalism.
  • Ability to work as a team player and proactively address problems.
  • Experience in commercial real estate.
