About The Position

The Assistant Vice President - People Business Partner at Moody's Analytics will serve as a strategic advisor to senior management, aligning People strategies with business objectives. This role involves building relationships with senior leaders, delivering global programs, supporting organizational development, managing talent, and ensuring effective staffing and selection processes. The position is integral to driving employee performance and engagement while navigating change in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of Human Resources experience, ideally as a Business Partner / HR Generalist.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to incorporate metrics into delivery.
  • Knowledge of and experience applying company policies and procedures.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to interact with all levels of management.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with senior managers to influence decisions.
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to manage high volumes of work and navigate change.
  • Experience working in a matrixed Global organization.
  • Bachelor's Degree; advanced degree and/or certification in HR specialties preferred.

  • Experience in additional HR functions beyond Business Partner/HR Generalist role.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with senior managers to understand business priorities and align People strategies to business objectives.
  • Partner closely with People Team colleagues to deliver advice and counsel to leaders on People business issues.
  • Deliver global programs that drive employee performance and engagement.
  • Support the implementation of change management and organizational design initiatives.
  • Partner with senior management to implement a framework for assessing and developing organizational talent.
  • Work with Talent Acquisition on workforce planning and recruitment for senior-level positions.
  • Support senior management in the annual salary plan and incentive compensation processes.
  • Review internal and external metrics to inform workforce decisions and make recommendations.
  • Support global projects and partner with various People functions to resource project teams as directed.
  • Proactively mitigate risk by managing employment law-related risks.
