The AVP, Paid Search at L'Oréal is a strategic leadership role within the Corporate Digital and Marketing Office (CDMO) focused on defining and executing the search strategy for L'Oréal USA. This position involves overseeing paid search activities, driving revenue growth, and managing a high-performing team of search specialists. The role requires collaboration with global teams, innovation in search technologies, and a strong emphasis on data-driven performance optimization.

  • Define the overarching search vision, roadmap, and learning agenda for L'Oreal USA.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high performing team of in-house and agency search specialists.
  • Oversee all paid search activities, driving revenue growth and maximizing ROAS.
  • Develop and execute data-driven strategies leveraging advanced analytics and measurement frameworks.
  • Manage strategic Joint Business Plans for key search partners and cultivate strong relationships.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of Paid Search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising.
  • Champion a mobile-first approach and explore innovative search technologies.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of internal search dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and innovation.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Deep understanding of SEM, including keyword research and performance analysis.
  • Expertise in analytics platforms (GA4, Conductor, SA360, etc.).
  • Strong people management experience to handle a team of 14 plus external agency direct reports.
  • Affinity and relevant experience in beauty and personal care brands.
  • Experience working with Demandware (Salesforce) & Sitecore platforms.
  • Expert analytics, MVT & BI software knowledge (Google Analytics, Domo, Tableau, Optimize).
