The AVP of Media at Safelite Group is a pivotal role that encompasses both strategic and executional leadership for all paid marketing initiatives. This position is responsible for overseeing a wide array of marketing tactics, including linear TV, YouTube, CTV, social media, paid search, SEO, affiliate marketing, and sports sponsorships. The AVP will work closely with the creative team to ensure that all marketing efforts align with business objectives and maximize media effectiveness. A key aspect of this role is to optimize both individual and holistic channel performance to achieve return on investment (ROI) and enhance brand health. Collaboration across various business units is essential to understand and address business needs effectively. In this role, the AVP will be tasked with developing and executing comprehensive media strategies that not only meet immediate business goals but also contribute to long-term brand equity. This includes building and implementing a quarterly media roadmap that optimizes the current media mix while exploring innovative approaches to marketing. The AVP will also collaborate with the customer insights and analytics team to analyze the effectiveness of channels and campaigns, driving continuous improvement based on data-driven insights. Staying updated on industry trends and best practices is crucial to ensure that Safelite's media strategies remain cutting-edge and effective. Additionally, the AVP will manage local media and sponsorship strategies, negotiating deals that enhance brand visibility and deliver measurable business outcomes. Leadership responsibilities include coaching and developing a high-performing team across advertising, social media, and digital domains, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. The AVP will oversee media agency relationships, conduct quarterly business reviews, and ensure alignment between media plans and business needs across various departments, including Field Operations, Finance, and Analytics. Budget management is also a critical component of this role, requiring the AVP to monitor and adjust the media and sponsorship budget to meet financial targets.
