Job Title: AVP & International Ops Officer II
Department: International Ops (HQ Office)

We are looking for a bilingual AVP International Operations (“Ops”) Officer II who is fluent in both English & Korean to join our International Ops team. The AVP & International Ops Officer II will be responsible for assisting the International Ops team in processing and servicing Trade Finance and Lines of Credit. Prepare and review L/C applications and line requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum five years of experience in bank operations required.
• Good knowledge of international trade finance operations and documentation, regulatory requirements, laws, and regulations.
• Good written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person, and over the phone.
• Ability to response effectively to sensitive inquiries or customer complaints.
• Accurate typing/keyboarding skills; basic computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Excel & Word processing, and e-mail.
• Good analytical skills including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Organizational ability with strong supervisory and management skills.
• Present a professional image in dealing with clients, interdepartmental, and external representatives.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in English and Korean is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining credit quality by monitoring business performance and financial positions and customers.
• Support underwriting and determining credit quality and performance of clients before renewing lines or paying settlement of funds.
• Import: L/C Set up and processing: L/C open, L/C Settlement, Loan Posting, Bank Release, B/A.
• Export: L/C Advising, Negotiation, Reimbursement/Collection follow-up & payment process.
• Manage the scanning and digitization of closed files.
• Daily Online Transaction Entry (OTE). Proof of transactions for daily reports and call back account maintenance log.
• Work independently with third party vendors and borrowers.
