About The Position

Seeking a highly motivated individual with extensive knowledge and experience in the financial services industry. In this position, you will support management and team members with management of the general ledger, financial analysis, internal and external reporting, and ad-hoc projects.

Requirements

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required
5+ years of related experience require

Certified Public Accountant preferred

Responsibilities

Perform monthly/quarterly close functions in accordance with US GAAP
Prepare reconciliations and reporting to ensure accuracy of the financials
Prepare financial statements, Head Office reporting, BHC reporting and other reports, as needed
Perform balance sheet and income statement variance analysis
Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports, forms and schedules to provide management and other stakeholders with financial information
Assist with the preparation of both internal and external financial reports
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards necessary for the completion of assigned tasks
Maintain sufficient knowledge of the bank’s business operations and operational workflows
Work with both internal and external audit on any requested info and support
Provide support for system enhancements and engage in ad-hoc projects within the Finance area
