About The Position

As the AVP of Facility and Support Services you will have senior leadership responsibility for quality, daily operations, financial performance, and program development of the Delaware Valley facility and support services. This includes Facilities, Construction Management, Security/Public Safety, Clinical Engineering, Housekeeping, Laundry, Food Services, and Environmental Safety & Compliance (EPA & States of DE, MD, NJ, PA environmental regulations). Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in healthcare management, with minimum of 5 years senior leadership experience within Support & Ancillary Services
  • Proficiency with CMMS, AutoCAD, and other facilities management technologies a plus
  • Construction & Facilities Licenses and certifications a plus

Responsibilities

  • Accountability for the safe management and operational integrity of Nemours physical facilities throughout the Delaware Valley.
  • Providing strategic oversight of all construction management activities in the Delaware Valley, ensuring projects meet established budget, schedule, and safety targets.
  • Developing and implementing a multi-year biomedical equipment replacement plan and capital budgets.
  • Identifying and recommending capital solutions for Delaware Valley projects in alignment with objectives, in partnership with Finance and Senior Leadership.
  • Providing senior leadership for Environment of Care (EC), Life Safety (LS}, and Emergency Management (EM) functions, assuring a safe and secure environment across the Delaware Valley.
  • Collaborating with the Delaware Valley Executive Leadership Team to develop and maintain the Master Facility Plan, ensuring integration with Strategic Business Planning and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
