Job Overview: The AVP of Reporting & Analytics will be a key member of the team responsible for the delivery of robust reporting and analytics solutions for LPL’s Supervision organization. This role will be responsible for the creation of analytics, insights and reporting in support of Supervision. The AVP will work with all levels of staff in the various divisions of LPL Financial. The candidate must have experience with data analysis, databases, ETL processes, and data automation tools and techniques. You will assist in the development of data sources used to identify and share insights with the business. In this position, you will work to maintain and support our legacy data environment while partnering with the infrastructure team to plan the migration to a central data warehouse. The ability to effectively interact with database professionals, as well as experience across different ETL tools and data processes is preferred. Responsibilities: Partner with Supervision stakeholders, business analysts, and data analysts to develop solutions to support the Supervision line of business Maintain and optimize legacy data infrastructure processes Partner with Data Infrastructure team members in the migration of legacy data infrastructure to our Snowflake data warehouse Leverage Tableau, Tableau Prep, Alteryx, task scheduler or similar tools maintain the current environment Communicate with analysts across the organization to ensure the underlying data meets the needs of stakeholders Perform at a high standard where quality, accuracy, innovation and effectiveness are top priorities Focus on delivering data accurately and on time. Partner with other analytics teams to ensure business goals are met Develop strategies for improving and automating data processes Identify efficiencies in our data processes and participate in the development of new, streamlined data sources What are we looking for?
