An important role tied to the development of a strong BSA/AML program and supporting revenue growth for the company. This position will work with business lines to evaluate whether identified restricted prospective customers fit within our risk appetite, within the current BSA/AML/OFAC program, and if programmatic gaps are identified to develop an onboarding and monitoring program that meets regulatory expectations for a strong BSA/AML program for approval. This position will conduct initial onboarding evaluations and work across the BSA/AML program to develop an intake evaluation process, onboarding requirements, and coordinating discussions with BSA/AML Leaders, Lines of Business, and appropriate resources such as outside consultants. Subject matter expertise on BSA/AML regulatory expectations related to higher-risk customers, building strong and effective programs, and how to integrate within current programs is essential. This position recommends expansion of current program requirements when appropriate and works closely with other BSA/AML Leaders to enhance procedures, technology, and monitoring rules to engage newer customer types.
