About The Position

A long established, highly regarded, family owned & operated Grower/Packer/Shipper/Importer is in growth mode and adding an experienced Avocado expert to spearhead developing a new program for the company. Our client has decades of experience with import sales across the U.S. and has built a strong reputation among the industry and their customer base as a reliable & trustworthy organization. Our client is located in South Texas and would prefer this role based onsite but will consider remote or hybrid arrangements for the right candidate.

Requirements

  • Sales & Business Development
  • Successful sales track record developing and managing contracted retail sales programs.
  • Experience managing national & regional accounts, achieving multi-million-dollar sales targets; growing year-over-year.
  • Established relationships with retail buyers (e.g., Walmart, Kroger, H-E-B, Whole Foods, etc.) as well as connections with wholesalers, distributors and foodservice accounts.
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally as needed for business demands.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish would be very helpful but not required.
  • College degree (B.A. /B.S.) in related fields of study preferred or relevant job history.
