About The Position

Avionics Technicians shall assure that the procedure outlined in the repair station manual as well as all FAA Regulations and manufacturer's instructions are complied with. In addition to all responsibilities listed below, work involves the responsibility of performing routine maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, modification of aircraft systems, and installations. In addition, component removal and reinstallation, operational checks, and leak checks are all within the responsibility of the avionics technician. The Avionics Technician is responsible for using sound judgment and technical aptitude to make decisions regarding maintenance, sequence, and techniques, troubleshooting and discrepancy resolution,

Requirements

  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Hangar / Line Environment.
  • 1-3 years related experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License
  • Federal Communication Commission (FCC) License (optional)
  • Strong understanding in 145 repair station operations / regulations required.
