The position involves performing various duties related to aircraft maintenance and ensuring compliance with company policies and federal regulations. The individual will be responsible for accomplishing all assigned work, maintaining tools, and ensuring a safe work environment. The role requires effective communication and reporting, especially when transitioning work between shifts.

  • Accomplishing all work assigned in accordance with policies, procedures, and specifications.
  • Properly signing, recording, and assuming responsibility for all work performed.
  • Owning and maintaining a basic set of standard and metric aircraft quality tooling.
  • Using all Company tools, parts, equipment, and materials efficiently.
  • Providing a detailed report of work progression for shift transitions.
  • Keeping up to date with manual changes, policy changes, and rules.
  • Maintaining an alert attitude towards unsafe or hazardous practices.
  • Keeping a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
  • Ensuring the Shop Lead is aware of aircraft irregularities.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
  • Read and understand drawings, schematics, aircraft manuals, etc.
  • Must be able to operate MS Office Suite and some web-based computer programs.
  • Motivated, self-starter capable of maintaining an efficient work pace.
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
  • Ability to work overtime as required.
  • Previous training or experience with company specific rotary-wing airframes highly preferred.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years avionics/electrical experience required.
