We’re working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight! This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable. As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will be responsible for developing and qualifying avionic hardware products in support of New Glenn mission. You will have full responsibility for hardware development, coordinating with other multi-functional team to assure successful qualification per company and industry standards to produce reliable flight hardware for re-usable launch vehicles. As a Product Engineer for avionics hardware, you will: Manage, and maintain design documentation (hardware requirements, CAD, drawings, ICDs, BOMs, etc.) Provide technical support during flight build, test, and integration into the vehicle. Work closely with the program and manufacturing team through build, test, and delivery of flight hardware. Support the development of the Automated Test Equipment and transition of the product from development to production release. Be responsible for the successful qualification of the hardware.
