About the position

Mach Industries is seeking an Integration & Test Engineer to design and implement state-of-the-art testing solutions for our next-generation autonomous vehicles. This role involves developing automated test systems to produce flight hardware quickly and reliably. You will be responsible for the entire testing lifecycle, from defining test requirements to executing tests, analyzing data, and seeking ways to replace manual processing with automated solutions. You will contribute to the development, automation and execution of test procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and build automated test platforms to best validate Mach’s software.
  • Develop software that allows for test execution across multiple environments: hardware-in-the-loop (HITL, HIL) and virtualized hardware simulations.
  • Implement vertical test solutions for design characterization, validation, and manufacturing.
  • Own the technical aspects of one or more test automation projects, from requirements gathering to successful deployment and maintenance.
  • Invent tools that enable more frequent and reliable software deployment, test execution, and data analysis.
  • Develop custom test sequences in Python and Labview following software engineering best practices.
  • Create well documented test cases and operating procedures for test systems.
  • Work closely with developers to provide a reliable, fact, accurate and easy-to-use integrated test platform.
  • Hands-on integration and troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in software, computer science, electrical engineering or related fields.
  • Strong Ability to read electrical circuits and schematics, navigate PCB layouts, and understand manufacturer’s product data sheets.
  • Proficiency with industrial buses and communication protocols (USB, VISA, GPIB, Ethernet, Serial, RS-485, SPI, I2C, etc).
  • Experience with automation instrumentation such as programmable power supplies, multiplexers, DMMs, signal analyzers, signal generators, multifunction devices (digital and analog).
  • Development experience in C, C++, or python programming.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency in Labview and Python for developing custom test sequences.
  • Experience with RF measurements and equipment including Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, and Network Analyzers.
  • Knowledge of Custom PCBA design for test systems.
  • Familiarity with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing and embedded systems.
  • Experience managing software repositories and version control.

Benefits
