MTSI is seeking an Avionics Integration Engineer Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support development and integration of aircraft avionics and subsystems into a highly technical platform system and subsystems. The individual will decompose user capability requirements into system and subsystem specifications, evaluate technical maturation and risk reduction processes and results, provide design reviews, plan, execute and evaluate development, integration and test results, provide specification verification and system validation assessments, identify deficiency root cause and evaluate corrective actions, evaluate and support manufacturing capability development, fielding, sustainment and modernization planning and engineering support. The individual will work with the System Program Office (SPO) Chief Engineer, program managers, vendors, platform users, cybersecurity experts, logisticians, testers, and other system and subsystem engineers to execute a fast paste acquisition program of critical national defense capabilities. The individual must have significant experience with the USAF systems engineering process, avionics systems and subsystems and be able to communicate effectively to enable successful execution of the SPO’s mission. The individual will work on-base at WPAFB OH with limited remote support options.
